BUBBA GUMP SHRIMP CO. TO OPEN FIRST-EVER ORANGE COUNTY LOCATION AT ANAHEIM GARDENWALK
Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. is the first restaurant to launch in the Anaheim GardenWalk Center on November 17
San Clemente, Calif. (October 26, 2007) – Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., the first restaurant group based on a motion picture property, is opening a milestone location on November 17 at the prestigious Anaheim GardenWalk. Opening in the same market in which the company is headquartered, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.’s newest location is the first restaurant to open in GardenWalk and the company’s first in Orange County. The Anaheim GardenWalk location is Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.’s 21st domestic location and 31st globally.

Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. at Anaheim GardenWalk is located at 321 W. Katella Avenue, Suite 101, Anaheim, CA 92802, and is open Sunday through Thursday 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. The 8,015-square-foot restaurant will have a seating capacity of just over 300. Unique to this location are two outside patios, one that can accommodate 32 guests and the other with room for 60.
Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Opens at Anaheim GardenWalk
The restaurant will feature an array of seafood and non-seafood menu items with appetizers, including: Shakin’ Shrimp Cocktail, Bubba’s Far Out Dip and Shrimper’s Net Catch. Sandwiches, entrees and “Forrest’s Favorites” include the Dixie Style BBQ Ribs; Bourbon Mahi Mahi; Boat Trash and ”I’m Stuffed!” Shrimp. Dessert favorites such as Key Lime Pie and Bread Pudding are accompanied by an extensive list of colorful cocktails, including the Bayou Surprise and Delta Sunset. The concept also offers a variety of smoothies, the Run Forrest Run and Lotsa Lava.
As with each Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. restaurant, the interior design of the new location is adorned with authentic “Forrest Gump” movie memorabilia, still-photos, reproductions of script pages, storyboards and costumes.
Continuing its corporate tradition of giving back to the community, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. will donate 50 percent of first day sales generated at the Anaheim GardenWalk restaurant to the Orangewood Children’s Foundation (http://www.orangewoodfoundation.org), a non-profit organization whose mission is to eliminate child abuse and neglect in Orange County.
